BIOGRAPHY

I AM A CHILDREN'S BOOKS ILLUSTRATOR, and I've been working as a freelance illustrator for many years. I grew up at San Nicolás, Argentina, surrounded by streams, trees, nature and pets that are my inspiration.

I always drew. For years I devoted to music, playing the flute, studying music, until my passion for illustration grew, and today music is part of each drawing, accompanying me in the creation process.

I like the smell of graphite, the scent of woodpencils, the sound of chalk soaring through the paper, the texture of the acrylic, the feel of the eraser, the mixture of colors being born in the palette and brightness of a new white leaf, although I use too much my graphic tablet to paint.

Basically, I love to draw.

When I'm not drawing, I enjoy going out on my mountain bike through the fields nearby, where I feel free and happy.

SOY ILUSTRADORA DE LIBROS INFANTILES. Trabajo desde hace muchos años como ilustradora independiente.

Crecí en San Nicolás, Argentina, entre agua de arroyos, ladridos de perros y aroma de eucaliptos.

Luego, durante años, viví en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, estudié y me dediqué a la música. Sin embargo, soy ilustradora por destino interior.

Un día, con mi familia, elegimos volver al pago de los arroyos, las arboledas y al andar en bicicleta por el campo. Desde entonces, vivo otra vez aquí.

Adoro mi oficio de dibujante. Me gusta el olor del grafito, el perfume de la madera de los lápices, el sonido de la tiza surcando el papel, la textura del acrílico, el tacto de la goma de borrar, la mezcla de colores que surge en la paleta y la luminosidad del blanco de una nueva hoja.

Me encanta dibujar.
